About

I started the project as my grief therapy and a way to pay it forward... To do good in the world.  It began after my dad was robbed and killed 2 years ago.  He was a simple guy who spent his life helping others.  I began with a goal of sewing dresses for little girls. I poured all my sadness and anger into my sewing machine.  My initial goal was 12 dresses.  With the help of my friend and fellow nursing school buddy Karen, as well as the true kindess of of friends, family, and total strangers, we have done amazing things. Hundreds of children around the world have new clothes, blankets, and shoes because of the project.  The project renewed my faith in the fact that most people want to good too.
Two little guys wearing blankets we made.  Love  the smiles!

I started the blog to share some of the stuff I am working on, but keep it fun too.  I plan on focusing on pay it forward stuff, but also what life has become for me... Keeping it Simple, finding balance, and celebrating life. I know that my dad would want it that way.  So hope you like it! Feel free to let me know what you think!
